What does a Week of Camp Cost?

Our mission since 1951 is to make camp accessible. That means affordable.

Sliding scale pricing helps us to ensure EVERY CAMPER can explore Happy Hollow’s Signature Summer Camp Program.

Deposit and base rate is $80/regular week for those who receive FREE & REDUCED LUNCH or are in the FOSTER CARE system.

Camper Fee: $250/regular week (Short $170/short week)

CIT Fee: $290/week

Monthly Income Range (Household Size): $2,843 (single) - $9,836 (8ppl)

LEVEL C

Camper Fee: $500/regular week (Short $340/short week)

CIT Fee: $540/week

Monthly Income Range (Household Size): $3,273 (single) - $11,325 (8ppl)

LEVEL D

Camper Fee: $750/regular week (Short $500/short week)

CIT Fee: $790/week

BIPOC Scholarship Program

Happy Hollow Children’s Camp is proud to participate in the BIPOC Scholarship Program through ESS Cares, helping expand access to summer camp for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color youth.

This scholarship program:

  • Provides financial support for campers ages 13–17

  • Helps remove financial barriers to attending summer camp

  • Expands access to meaningful outdoor and community-building experiences

  • Supports our commitment to inclusion, belonging, and equity

Counselor-in-Training Program

Happy Hollow’s Counselor in Training (CIT) Program

This program is designed for older youth AGES 15-17 YEARS OLD to develop leadership skills, strengthen resumes, and create future camp leadership.

CIT participants gain hands-on experience to prepare for future roles as camp counselors, developing teamwork and leadership skills while learning how to make a positive impact in their community.

Overnight Camp Experience Overview

  • Arrival Day: Campers are welcomed with orientation, team-building games, and a campfire kick-off to set the tone for the adventure ahead.

  • Daily Activities: Campers participate in various experiences, such as hiking, environmental science workshops, leadership exercises, and outdoor survival skills.

  • Evening Fun: Every evening, campers gather for campfires, stargazing, and storytelling, strengthening bonds with fellow campers.
